The best way for getting full free software + games is through Peer 2 Peer.
Peer to Peer networking programs like Napster and KaZaA are run with the help of the internet. The peer to peer program will install a folder on your computer where you can share files and put files like MP3 music files and other multi media files into. This folder also is where your downloads end up when they have finished. The files and downloads that end up in the download folder will be shared with other users of the same peer to peer program. They can download from your folder to theirs. This happens again and again. Files, programs and pictures spread very fast so users can have faster downloads because the file is wider spread on the peer to peer program.
You can search though the peer to peer program for example to do a search for 60s music. The peer to peer program will then search through its users on line at that time which are about 55,000 users so that the search results will be very high.
You can download MP3s( which are music files.) Some of the MP3 files are not very good quality but when you are searching you get a description of what quality the music file is. The best quality is 128-160 kbps
Video files are very big and take a long time to download. Broadband internet connection is available in most parts of the UK. This allows big files like video and software to be downloaded a lot faster than with a modem connection. With all files on the peer to peer programs you can stop the downloads and start again a later date, this is good for very big files. Other big files are software and games, most are all full versions.
When downloading software and games the law states you need a licence to use them. One peer two peer program called Napster was closed down as the music industry was losing vast amounts of money, as people were downloading their music instead of buying it from the shops. New laws have now been made to try and prevent this happening.
